Meet the Team

A European immigrant born in Poland in 1925, Sam survived the war and the German occupation. In 1954 Sam moved to the United States. Transitioning through Ellis Island with his wife, Helga, they made their way to Los Angeles, California. Shortly thereafter, relying on his intuition and determination, Sam followed the American dream, quickly establishing his own business importing products from Europe. This was met with great success. Never taking his eye off the growing business, Sam and his wife raised and educated two sons enjoying their newly found freedoms.

Sam, now in his 90’s, is still driving his vintage red Cadillac into their Hollywood headquarters every day to work side by side with his son.

Larry Neuberg was born, raised, and educated in Los Angeles, California. He joined the family business in 1979, working side-by-side with his father, Sam.

Over the past thirty five plus years, Larry’s contributions to the business have been innumerable. During his tenure with the company he has pioneered the substantial expansion of Neuberg & Neuberg Importers Group Inc. by adding three exciting new divisions, which in turn enhanced products and services offered. Larry has also played a vital role in strengthening the company’s relationships with both customers and suppliers alike. For the last ten plus years Larry has transitioned into the role of President and CEO of Neuberg & Neuberg Importers Group Inc. In this role he continues to perform as a leader and visionary of the company. Larry continues to work side-by-side with his father as well as his wife, Lynn, continuing the family values at the core of the company. His passion for his business has him involved as a corporate sponsor in long standing of the prestigious Society of Gilders.

As Neuberg & Neuberg Importers Group has been solidly rooted in Hollywood for over the past fifty years, Larry has consequently become involved in the overall “well-being” of Hollywood. Larry is a member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and also serves on the steering committee for the beautification of Hollywood’s Route 66.

Rommel Villa currently holds the position of Senior Vice President. He has been working directly with the Neuberg family for over 25 years.

His responsibilities include management and oversight of the Daily Operations, Human Resources, and provide successful Strategic Planning and Implementation. He always shares the company’s vision of demonstrating a commitment to excellence.

Born in the Philippines, Rommel graduated university with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a holds a degree in Computer Applications.

Rommel considers it an honor and privilege to be an integral part of this highly respected company. He recognizes their capacity for growth and is looking forward to playing a leadership role moving forward.

Lynn, a native of Michigan, attended the University of Michigan, before moving west to California. Here she started and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of running her own business which she eventually sold in the late 80’s. She met her now husband, Larry Neuberg, in the early 90’s. After which, she transitioned her creative drive to the Neuberg family business.

After taking a pause to raise their daughter, which she considers to be the greatest privilege of her life, Lynn returned to Neuberg & Neuberg Importers Group and has since developed and overseen the significant growth of the Food and Beverage Division of the company. She has worked endlessly to establish distribution of the product line throughout all of North America.

One of her favorite aspects of her position is that she gets to establish relationships with her clients, brilliant chefs and distributors, from whom she gets to both teach and learn from. For Lynn, working in this creative environment is a pure joy.

One of her favorite quotes from Albert Einstein is, “Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”

Imelda graduated from Silliman University in the Philippines with a degree in Business Administration. She currently holds the position of accounting manager and administrative assistant to Larry Neuberg. She has maintained a trusted position with the company for 18 years. Imelda and her family reside in the greater Los Angeles area. One of the things that brings pleasure to her job is the company’s line of Gold Leaf. She feels that quality products are what make Neuberg & Neuberg the great company that it is.

One of her favorite mottos to live by is, “You reap what you sow.”

After immigrating from Mexico, Salvador met Sam Neuberg who immediately took him into the company and made him part of the Neuberg and Neuberg family. Working at various positions throughout the company, Salvador has settled into his current role as Purchasing Manager for over 20 years.

In the context of purchasing agent he does not have one favorite product, but has honed his skill as a technical expert for the Genuine Gold and Imitation Metal Leaf and the company’s line of Mineral/Mica and Metallic Powders.

Today the company relies on him for his bilingual capabilities.

One of his favorite mottos to live by is, “I’ll never be perfect but I can be better.”

Alicia has a colorful background having traveled the globe, to include England and Ireland extensively, working on the finest luxury passenger cruise lines. Now living in Los Angeles with her family, she holds the trusted position of Traffic Manager and Customer Service Representative for over 10 years.

She believes Neuberg and Neuberg is a successful company because the entire staff works together to give customers the best of service and products.

One of her favorite mottos to live by is, “Enjoy life today because yesterday is gone and tomorrow is never promised.

Jesse was a member of the Neuberg Family in the early 2000s. The years she was away, she raised 2 children and worked in the fertility pharmaceutical field, assisting individuals realize their own dreams of having a family.

She came back to Nueberg & Neuberg in 2018, to work with the people she has always considered her second family. Today, Jesse maintains the trusted position of Information Architect, where she has been honing her skills, contributing in many areas of the business.

One of her favorite mottos to live by: “The only thing a person can really do is to keep moving forward. So take that big leap forward without hesitation.”
